Are you a literary diamond in the rough?  Do you have deep, meaningful thoughts, but nowhere to share them?  Were you an English major, creative writing enthusiast, closet poetess, or wannabe novelist in your past life (i.e. before children)?  Do you want to connect with other LDS women in a framework of shared beliefs and values?  Then flex your writing muscle with Segullah’s annual essay contest – the Heather Campbell Award for Excellence in Writing.  If poetry is your muse, try your hand at Segullah’s annual Poetry Contest!

Submit your deep thoughts and poetic musings in final draft or near-final draft form by 31 December 2008.

Is there a theme for the 2008 Personal Essay Contest? I can’t seem to find one anywhere. I’m interested in submitting. Thanks!

No themes. We do themed issues, but our contest issue is made up of whatever people want to write about.
