ABC-4 and KSL were there. Check out our KSL clip! We sold over 100 copies of the book to benefit Stephanie and Christian Nielson.  Thanks Deseret Book (who really didn’t know what they were getting into when they invited the crazy Segullah ladies to have a party) and thanks to everyone who came!

***Were you there?  Tell us how it was (some of us, sniff, were not able to make it and would love to hear a report).

I loved the book signing event! It was wonderfully fun to meet the authors, put names to blogging faces, hear some exerpts from the book, etc. (and bravo, whoever brought those chocolate truffles that I am still proud of myself for not pigging out on). I really do think we should have another get together so I can have more time to visit with all ya’ll.

ACK! I spaced it! After all your reminders, too! Got caught up in dejunking house stuff. Pllh. Sounds like it was the bomb.

I made it a point to come down from SLValley for this. It was everything I expected it to be. My major motivation was to put faces with names. I was especially glad to meet M&M, Emily M., Justine, Kylie Turley, Darlene and others (I’m writing just before Church and I am surely forgetting some of you.) But all around it was great. A second vote for the truffles and I am proud of myself for just taking one. Here is another vote for a sit around and talk get together. Oh, and I further established that I am the oldest commenter on the bloggernacle, so thanks to all for being so nice to this old dinosaur. I’m also looking forward to reading the book. However, my present plan is to give it to the mother of our first great-grandchild (who I don’t know yet since our first 13 grandchildren are boys.) A great grandchild is probably about 6 or 7 years in the future. Anyway–well done all around.

How was it? Fabulous. It was so fun to go down the line, and stand in the area, just to meet everyone and put faces with names.

What a day! What a book! Congrats Segullah women.

Everyone meet at my house in an hour–I have 5 lbs. of truffles on my counter! (Which means we ate 7 lbs.)

I loved meeting you, ladies. Thank you for coming.

We’ll post some pictures soon. And I’ll report back as soon as I know the total sales from yesterday!

Okay, Kathryn, how did I miss you? Or am I brain dead today?

I’m sorry I missed you, Wendy! I was next to c jane most of the time, helping people with their origami birdies, but sometimes I had to step away.

I was there! Julie P (rarely home mom) and I made it to the event; I think I blushed the entire time, meeting all of the fabulous Segullah women. It was fun! And the food was fabulous…

    Thanks for doing it!

Oh, and this is for CJane: I totally forgot to tell you my husband works with Vance and Brent, although I haven’t met Page, yet.
I think I was blushing too much.
What is it with me and meeting amazing people in real life?!

The gathering was fabulous. I felt like I was in middle school in a room full of all the cool girls. Only this time the cool girls weren’t just beautiful; they were kind and talented and giving out truffles!

Annie, you are so kind, and it was SO nice to meet you, too! (and I wasn’t a cool kid in middle school, or high school, and I’m doubtful about that status now!)

I’m not doubtful about your status Justine, totally one of the cool kids.

I thought about all of you on and off the whole day. Glad it was a success but wish I could have been there.

    Love you all!

So bummed I wasn’t there. I hope more people will bear their testimonies of how great it was. I love hearing that!

I loved meeting all of you! It was wonderful to put faces with blog and commenter names. I have to give a shout out to Christine, who made the quilts for Nie’s children. Bless you, they were beautiful. And to the mom who lives in California and sent her BYU-student son to come and get a book–thank you!

Thanks to everyone for celebrating with us. We love you.

(p.s. to Annie, I have never in my life been one of the cool people. I think I felt the other way around–that everyone who came was honoring us with their time and with their presence there. Thank you.)
