You know you want a free issue.

A free issue of Segullah, that is. In print. Delivered to your door.

And I’m not talking about a back issue, people. I’m talking about a complimentary copy of our special-edition 5th anniversary issue, Inside and Outside Marriage, which will be rolling off the press this month.

As part of our anniversary celebration, we’re giving away a thousand copies to readers who  begin or renew their subscription to the print edition of Segullah. Don’t miss this double-length collection of personal essays, poetry, feature articles, and (for the first time) short fiction that illuminates the concept and experience of marriage from dozens of different angles—some from within the bounds of its rewards and challenges, and some from without. Highlights include essays from Mormon lit mavens Linda Hoffman Kimball and Tessa Meyer Santiago, a short story from award-winning fiction author Angela Hallstrom, and an article by LDS sex therapist Natasha Parker, plus winners and other honorees from our most recent personal essay and poetry contests.

All this comes as a bonus when you begin or renew your subscription to Segullah. Yep, you heard right: subscribe now and you’ll receive a complimentary copy of our double-length 5th anniversary issue, plus both of our 2011 issues: Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter.

* As of the summer of 2012, subscriptions are no longer available.

Do you have any future plans for an electronic subscription? I’m trying to minimize the amounts of paper that’s pushed into my house.

Oops. Something is off with the PayPal button. It doesn’t open a transaction page, just logs me into PayPal.

Am I understanding correctly that if I paid for a subscription last winter (in Dec., I believe) and have received 1 publication in the last 6 months, and am expecting one more at sometime in the next 6 months, I would have to renew now to get this special issue of Segullah?

Nope. The issue is free for everyone who has a subscription. With your current subscription, you’ll receive the anniversary issue later this month as well as the Spring/Summer 2011 issue.

I just ordered a subscription on May 18th for the double anniversary issue, would that be considered a current subsciption or new? The 2011 ones weren’t up at that time.

All subscribers–new or not–will receive a free copy of the anniversary issue.
