Deseret Book Throws a Party! (For a Reason, We Promise!)

Well, friends, we’re throwing a party to celebrate the release of The Mother in Me!

Saturday, October 18 at the Orem University Mall Deseret Book location, we’ll be partying like mad from 2-4 p.m..

We’ve mentioned the party before, but we want to announce the best part.

All royalties from sales of The Mother in Me that day (both in stores and online at Deseret Book) will go directly to the Stephanie and Christian Nielson Recovery Fund. Stephanie has set a wonderful example of gospel-centered motherhood that can be joyous and fulfilling. This is exactly the reason we wrote the Mother in Me, to celebrate and remind ourselves that there is much joy to be had in motherhood. What a wonderful way to help Stephanie, by celebrating our own motherhood together.

Our favorite bombshell blogger, c jane, will be there, as well as about a dozen of the other authors from the book and our illustrious editor, Kathryn Soper.

There will be good food, good stories, good poetry, good prizes, good company, and good food (oh, and good food).

Help us support Stephanie the best way we know how! If you don’t live close to Happy Valley (or even if you do), you can still participate by making online purchases of our book anytime on Saturday the 18th. [Note: this fundraiser does not include purchases made through Amazon.com.]

Saturday is the 18th. Is this on Tuesday the 13th or on Sat. the 18th?

I won’t be able to make it there for the party. If I buy it at my local Deseret book (not in Utah) will it be the same? Or is it only in Orem or online?
