I am only half way through the book but I'm having a hard time putting it down. I started reading it one night last week when I was having a hard time getting to sleep. Two hours later I was still reading.... It is a lovely, tender, honest and beautifully-written book. Thank you, Kathy, for writing it.

Kathy's book is a must-read. Not only is it a riveting story, but Kathy is a beautiful, poetic writer. You'll never look at a disabled child or their family the same again.

What?!... I forgot I was reading an excerpt, and then it ended. Fabulous. I can't wait to read it, I can't wait to share. Your post touched me in a personal way. Although I am not the mother of a disabled child, I am an aunt to one, (also seven! and truly a miracle child) and I will eagerly point my sister to this post and this book. Thank you.
