Dear President Hinckley,
Yesterday, I stood in line for almost five hours with my husband and children to see you lie in state. I would’ve waited ten.
You probably would chuckle and wonder what all the fuss is about. It’s not a wonder to me.
It was a remarkable experience.
Farewell. I’ll miss you.
















I’m feeling such a hole in my soul today. I know we know what we know, but that doesn’t change the sorrow of losing his presence on this side of the veil.
We didn’t make it to the viewing. I’m wishing we had now.
