Wow, what excellent advice, all of it, and I think it all shows in your writing (may I say, again, how much I LOVE Bound On Earth?) I don’t seem to have much fiction in me, but I certainly seem to bubble with words, and it would be nice to find a good tap for them (besides blogging and journaling and emailing and commenting on other peoples’ blogs.)

They are very helpful! In fact, they are better and more helpful than some of the books I’ve read that are specific on the subject of writing. So, thank you.

I hope my long list of rules is more helpful than intimidating. And like I said, many of these rules are breakable. I know for me, though, that it helped a lot to get some insight into the craft of writing. Although it’s not necessary to take a creative writing class in order to be a great writer, I do think that taking a look at some good creative writing texts (like the ones I mentioned above) can be very helpful for some.
