Honorable Mention Visual Arts: “God’s Generosity” by Abigail Muldowney

While holding a camera you come across the fascinating and often accidental messiness of humanity and nature that can create beautiful images. Beauty is not found in perfection but in the dirty, abandoned, well worn, odd, accidental, and even sad. Why should the sham of photoshopped bodies be what we find beautiful?  Glamour doesn’t take us far in self realization.  My goal as a photographer is to invoke emotion, memory, and a sense of connection with the viewer.
