Mette Ivie Harrison

Mette Ivie Harrison was an Ezra Taft Benson scholar in 1988. She graduated from BYU with a BA and MA in German in 1990 and went on to earn a PhD at Princeton University in 1995. She has published seven young adult novels, including The Princess and the Hound, and has an adult mystery set in Draper with a Mormon bishop’s wife as the amateur detective coming out with Soho Press in December of 2014. She is a nationally ranked triathlete and published a nonfiction memoir Ironmom in 2013. She lives with her husband and the younger end of her five children in Layton, Utah.
