Emily Summerhays

Emily Summerhays is a transplant from beneath the shadow of the everlasting hills to the urban wilds of New York City, where she lives relatively peaceably with her husband, her books, and various musical instruments. By day, she writes grants for the American Museum of Natural History on subjects ranging from the evolution of infectious diseases to the Kwakwaka’wakw culture of the Northwest Coast. By night, she writes posts for feministmormonhousewives.org, has musical jam sessions with her husband, attempts to lengthen her hamstrings through the magic of yoga, and even occasionally works on her novel.
