Jenn Lee Smith is a writer and film producer who focuses on stories of the marginalized. She produced and co-directed the short documentary, Faithful, which premiered at UN Women Global Voices Film Festival. She is currently producing two feature films. Bombero is a docufiction about young firefighters in Nicaragua. Jane and Emma is a historical drama about LDS pioneer Jane Manning James and her friendship with Emma Smith at the time of Joseph Smith’s death. Both films are anticipating a 2018 release. Jenn Lee is an active contributor to Asian American magazines and media. She and her family attend a Chinese Mandarin-speaking ward in northern California with her devout nonagenarian grandmother and fourth auntie.
