Segullah Writing Contest Winners

Segullah is delighted to announce last year’s writing contest winners.  The winning essays and poetry are currently featured in Segullah’s Winter 2009 issue “Becoming.”

Heather Campbell Personal Essay Contest:

Congratulations to all of our winners!  We truly enjoyed reading all of your submissions – it was difficult to choose the winners.  We encourage everyone to start writing now for next year’s competition.  We would love to hear from you!  Be sure to subscribe to Segullah’s in-print journal so that you can enjoy this wonderful writing when you’re away from your computer.

(Blog Team) is the proud mother of two living sons, aged 9 and 7, and Ethan, who passed away in early February 2014. She is currently working as a freelance science writer and blogger and will begin a PhD program in Science Education at the University of Central Florida in Fall 2014. When she's not juggling the laundry, her writing work, and the busy lives of her little boys, she likes to squeeze in a triathlon now and then. Also, her husband rocks.
